Susan Berdinka
Susan Berdinka is a web application developer and technologist who has been building custom websites and digital tools for small businesses, non-profits, religious organizations, and individuals since 2000. Her technical background spans software engineering, systems support, and library technology, including 15 years as Web Development/Technical Services Librarian at the Westhampton Free Library. She holds a BS in Computer Science/Applied Mathematics from SUNY Polytechnic Institute and an MLS from St. John’s University.
Susan has volunteered with Renewable Community Initiative since 2011, lending her development and IT expertise to help the organization’s environmental mission run smoothly. Beyond her technical work, she’s deeply engaged in her local community: having served as Board President of Birthright of the Peconic, on the Board of Trustees at Riverhead Free Library, and in various responsibilities for her church, among other civic and volunteer roles.
Whether she’s writing code, cataloging library collections, or supporting a nonprofit’s digital presence, Susan brings a practical, service-minded approach shaped by decades of technical work and community involvement.
