Robert B. Bender, B.S., M.B.A., M.P.D.T.
Considered by many to be an industrial marketing guru, the Founder and President of The R.B. Bender Group brings 50 years of experience in industrial marketing and sales, along with extensive knowledge of machinery, materials, and manufacturing techniques. He has been employed by Borg-Warner and Sumitomo Heavy Industries, and has served as a vendor of innovative industrial products to companies such as General Motors, Ford, Bethlehem Steel, U.S. Steel, Lever Brothers, National Grid, Amtrak, the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, JetBlue Airways, and the Long Island Railroad, among others.
He is recognized for his creative problem-solving abilities across all corporate levels, including executive, engineering, maintenance, and purchasing. His solutions have saved millions of dollars for the companies he has worked with.
He holds advanced degrees from Drexel University, Hofstra University, and the Morse Institute of Technology. He has served as President of the Association for Facilities Engineering, New York–Long Island Chapter, since 2007. He has been a member of LIMBA since 2006 and a director on its Board since 2020. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Deer Park Chamber of Commerce and is currently involved in water quality initiatives across the United States.
